The New York Apartment Association is dedicated to better housing policy for both renters and housing providers. It is clear to everyone that our state is in a housing crisis that is stifling our economic growth and driving families out of the state due to lack of affordability. Our agenda focuses on reducing the cost of housing, supporting renters in need, and moving our state forward to an end goal of abundant affordable housing.
NYAA seeks to improve the relationship between housing providers and renters; to improve government regulations, operations and agencies that interact with housing providers;
We work to improve the ability of housing providers to maintain and operate rental housing in New York City; and to advocate for better housing policy in New York State, so we can excel at Housing New York.
